The museum has four sections: history, art, ethnography and natural sciences; the Roman -Catholic Cathedral - 18th century historical and architecture monument, the largest baroque church in Romania; the Moon Church - 18th century baroque historical monument. A sphere, half -black, half - golden situated under the church tower shows the phases of the moon; the City Town Hall - a monumental building in neo-classical style; the State Theatre - neo-classical building with secession elements; the Black Eagle Palace - one of the most important monuments of the secession style in Transylvania.

 

 

 

 

     The Bears' Cave, discovered in 1975 in a former marble quarry, shelters an impressing number of stalactites and stalagmites having the strangest shapes, and fossil remains of the cave bear disappeared 17,000 years ago.
